The system is designed so that it can map risks to a number of independent series of attributes:
•Asset Types (or whatever you have personalised them to be called);
•Strategies and Objectives
•Process/sub-process
•Risk Category
To link risks to objectives/strategies, it is necessary to record details of the organisation’s strategic goals; this is done using the Strategy function, or whatever you have re-named it in the Parameters screen, (see above).
This facility allows the user to set out the various strategic objectives the organisation has set for itself. One important feature of CAREweb™ is its ability to map the impact of potential risks against the overall strategies of the organisation AS WELL AS against identified Asset Types and Processes.
Clicking the tab brings up the following screen:
At the initial set-up, this screen is blank, to add a new strategy, click “Add New” and the following screen will appear:
Type in a strategic objective and click on the right-hand side. Add as many strategies as you have.
