12.2.5 Assigning Compliance Risks to Entities

12.2.5 Assigning Compliance Risks to Entities

 

Once the Regulations' hierarchy has been set-up in the system, the next step is to link the possible breach scenarios (i.e., Compliance Risks) to the entities.

 

This can be done from the hierarchy screen:

Select the article you wish to assign to the entity(s) and click on the Version 6_img581 button this will take you to the Entity Listing screen shown below and explained in detail in section 12.2 of the manual.

This screen shows all the compliance risk profiles defined in your database. To assign the risk to any of the existing profiles, select the tick box appearing next to each entity (i.e brokerage) and click on Version 6_img583.

 

 

To link the risk to a new entity, click on the “Version 6_img584” icon and this will present you with the below blank “Entity Screen” the elements of this screen are described in details in section 12.2 of the manual. Once you are done with defining the elements of the entity screen click on the save icon. Click on the “Version 6_img585” icon to return to the Entity Listing screen, the entity you just defined will now appear in the list of entities. Select the tick box next to the entity and click on the “Version 6_img583”.

 

Note: if the compliance risk you assigned to the entity was linked to a control (as explained earlier in the Related Control tab) the system will also assign the control to the entity.
