The "Re number" button allows all risks for the Entity to be re-sorted. For example, if risks have been captured in no particular order in a workshop environment it may be considered necessary to regroup them into a logical sequence; this can be done by assigning consecutive numbers instead of the system generated numbers and then using this re-number function to re-order the entire list.
