Whether related to an event or a simple diary entry, there will be times when control deployment is shown to be inadequate, when this happens, recommendations are made for improvement and this remedial action has to be monitored through to implementation. This graph shows the state of remedial action across the organization; it shows completed actions, overdue actions, recommendations still in a draft state, actions not yet due as well as closed actions.
If you position the cursor over a particular bar, the system displays the number of items in the relevant category. If you want a printed report relating to a particular category simply position the cursor on the bar and double click:
This report will show you:
•The date the recommendation was due for completion;
•The Business Unit the recommendation relates to;
•The risk or control the recommendation relates to;
•The subject matter of the recommendation, and
•The person responsible for implementation.
