4.1.7 Responsible Officer

Next, we need to set up details of all people within the organization who will have responsibility for managing risks or controls. Typically, these would be the managers of the various Entities that are to be Risk Profiled, they could however include certain Board personnel if Corporate Risks are to be profiled. Don’t worry at this time if you don’t capture all of the names since more can be added at any time and through various other screens; for example, if you set up a Business Unit at any time with a name in the Responsibility field that has not been added here the system will prompt you and give you the choice of having the name automatically added at that time.

Click on the responsible officer tab and the following screen will appear:

After initial set-up stage this screen is blank, data is entered the same way as for "Strategy" (above), that is, click “Add New” button and the following screen will appear:

Type in details the new responsible employee and click Version 6_img149 on the right-hand side. If more are to be added repeat the process.

This personal data can be edited at any time by clicking on the "pencil" in the penultimate column, or deleted by clicking on the red cross in the final column; but note that you cannot delete a responsible officer if they have been assigned responsibility for one or more entities, in this case you have to reassign responsibility for the entity and then come back and delete the responsibility.
