Upon Accessing the Internal Audit Module, the user will be presented with customized Dashboard that is designed to provide a graphical view of the overall status of the Internal Audit Activity depending on the charts selected from the Dashboard Configuration Screen. However, if this is the first time the dashboard is accessed since the system has been installed, the dashboard screen will be empty. To configure the Dashboard, click on the Go to Chart Setting tab in the toolbar menu to configure and customise the dashboard chart.
The Go-to Chart settings feature will direct you to the Dashboard Configuration- References screen:
From the module drop-down list select the Internal Audit Module
The numbers presented in the table refer to the charts position within the dashboard (i.e. 1 refers to the first chart that will be presented in the dashboard). Accordingly, select the chart number then select the chart you would like the dashboard to present from the “Charts” drop-down list as shown below:
The following charts are available for the Internal Audit Module:
-Remedial Actions IA; the chart shows the status of all recommendations logged into the system (i.e. whether the recommendations are Completed, Overdue, Draft, Not due, Closed or Follow-up).
-Auditors Exceeding Planned Number of Days; the chart highlights delayed audits by each Audit Team Leader.
-Status of Assigned Audits by Team Leader; The chart shows audits statuses (i.e. Completed, Completed & Approved or Not Started) per team leader.
-Status of Assigned Tests; The chart represents the overall status of Compliance and Substantive tests (completed/pending) assigned to each Internal Auditor.
-Finding Importance by Auditor; the chart highlights the number of findings per auditor ranked in accordance with the finding importance (very low, low, medium, high, very high).
-Finding Importance by Entity: The chart highlights the number of findings per entity ranked in accordance with the finding importance (very low, low, medium, high, very high).
-Percentage of Completed Tests; Shows the percentage of completed Compliance/Substantive tests for each selected entity
-Tests/Finding Status; the chart highlights the status of each test (i.e. Approved, rejected, pending, in progress, replies received).
-Recurring Findings; The chart highlights the number of recurring findings per entity.
-Actual vs Scheduled Days; the chart compares the actual audit days against the scheduled audit days for each entity
Once you are done with selecting the chart you can customise the chart’s Theme, Type and Dimension.
After selecting and customising all charts to be presented in the dashboard, go back to the Internal Audit Module from the Jump To functionality. A completed dashboard might look like this:
